Account rules that prevent problems
- Access Indiana and MyLicense One accounts cannot be shared.

- Use qualifying licensed practice to address an education shortage when Indiana’s equivalency rule permits it.
- If still short, ask an Indiana beauty-culture school whether it will accept your prior hours before paying tuition.
- Use the provisional route when the originating jurisdiction does not issue the needed beauty-culture license.
- Use State Form 57016 for provisional work history and Indiana supervision.
- Create your own Access Indiana/MyLicense One account; do not share accounts.
- Use only two search criteria when linking an individual record.
- Do not create a duplicate application simply because an old record is not linked.
- Renew the individual beauty-culture license for $40 on its four-year cycle.
- Look for the Renew action around 90 days before expiration.
- Use the free Print License action after renewal.
- Use reinstatement beyond three years of expiration.
- Expect written-exam remediation for an Indiana beauty-culture license expired five years or more.
- Use the $10.60 Digital Certification when another state needs official Indiana verification.
